Norman Osborn, portrayed by Willem Dafoe, is the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's 2002 *Spider-Man* movie. He is the CEO of Oscorp, a major corporation struggling financially. Osborn, desperate to secure a lucrative military contract, experiments on himself with an unstable performance-enhancing serum.
The serum enhances his physical abilities and intellect, but it also drives him insane, creating an alternate, villainous personality. This new personality embraces the name "Green Goblin" and dons a high-tech armored suit and goblin-themed weaponry, including pumpkin bombs and a glider.
